Here, biodiversity is very high and nature has created a treasure house of plants and mushrooms that can be used for medicine. Many of the plants that are in use locally are described in the Book "Hani Medicine of Xishuangbanna". The Hani Peoples are one of the 14 ethnic minorities that inhabit tropical Xishuangbanna. The book is in 3 languages: Hani, Chinese, and English. Each medical plant species is shown in a color drawing.
