"Root
water"
skin treatment
herbal formula 2 for severe acne
Mainly the roots of Chinese herbs have been used to create this traditional
acne treatment. The formulation has been handed down for generations.
Some of the herbs are available only seasonally and have become a bit
rare.
A severe form of acne before and after treatment with root water.
Instructions for use:
We ship the ingredients in bottles with herbal powder because liquid
substances are not allowed to be transported by air. Therefore, upon
arrival, you need to transform the 'root powder' into the final
'root water': fill the bottle with clear 35% to 45% alcohol
either from a drug store, or use a commercial corn, vodka, or similar
non-perfumed and sugar-free alcohol of 35% to 45% alcohol content.
Let the alcohol extract the herbal ingredients for 3 days to form the
‘root water’. Then either filter through a paper (e.g. for
coffee) filter, or do not shake the sediments up when using.
The alcohol is necessary for herbal extraction, disinfections, and for
deep skin penetration of the extracts.
Apply once a day using a cotton ball. Use for 1 week, then pause for
1 week. Continue in this rhythm until the bottle is empty.
Warning: root water is a serious herbal product
forcing the skin to renew its tissue. This will cause dry and red skin,
and flaking off of your skin tissue during a period of 1 to 2 weeks.
This requires that you support your skin with a high quality water based
skin moisturizer during this pealing off process.
Whenever your skin gets too red, pause until your skin has calmed
down. Do not use skin oils during the treatment but only
high quality skin moisturizer (oils would cloak your pores
during the treatment and minimize its success).

the 'root powder' comes in 100ml bottles, which need to be filled upon
arrival with 35% to 45% alcohol (converting it to 'root water') to extract
the active herbal substances.

The tropical mountain
forests of Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China, are the home of thousands of
species with a potential to develop health and cosmetics products.
The
TianZi Biodiversity Research
& Development Centre is devoting its work to finding these species,
researching their potential, farm them in forest-farming ecosystems, and
find market outlets.
Traditional
and modern processing technologies are applied depending on crops and
quality requirements of the market.
For distilling essential oil we are using high quality copper for a traditionally
designed distilling apparatus. You can see
the distill here.
Through
buying our products you are contributing to save these species from extinction.
Your
ecologically friendly production:
proudly traceable!
Imagine, the traceability of your products leads your customers
to the tropical jungles of the Mekong river and to the Himalayan mountains
where Tibet meets Yunnan. Immerged in diverse culture and rich biodiversity,
your customers can visit the places and people where your products start
from pristine soils, clean air, and where they support the livelihood
of local ethnic communities.
Would this add to the sustainability and credibility of your business?
Would your trademark benefit from international
research publications lauding your company's involvement in saving the
rain forest?
If you are in the food, cosmetics, flower, herbal, and medical business,
certifying your products as contributing to biodiversity protection will
be an advantage with a competitive edge.
The TianZi Biodiversity Centre is working with German Universities to
design land use systems, which are bound to change paradigms: we promote
rare agro-biodiversity species, manage complexity, and find alternatives
to destructive forms of mono culture.
If all this is in line with your company's business concept - please contact
us.
The TianZi Team.
